Is Therapy for me?
Change can be one of the most difficult experiences for us to complete. Change is challenge. Change is scary. Change is worth it. Therapy is often mistaken as a sign of weakness and something that can be used against you if the wrong person finds out you’re in it. The beauty of participating in therapy is that you get to see yourself change, grow and learn about who you are, who you want to be and how to continue thriving as the best you with all the things you’ve learned. If you could make something better or different in your life, what would it be? Would it be to change your mindset about family, friends, a specific person or event? To process the difficult trauma you’ve experienced at any age? To learn healthy coping skills about how to handle those difficult experiences in life as you transition and grow into the person you were created to be? To learn new parenting tools to add to your parent toolbox? To learn about how to blend a family? To learn how to cope with your child(ren)’s diagnoses? To cope with your own diagnoses? If any of these ring true to you, then you’re in the right place. I cannot promise you this journey will be easy, it will be worth it though. You are worth taking your mental health to the next level.
